The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University,Sokoto has on Thursday, February 9, warned students over the break through of the school hostel fence.
The fence close to Kwankwasiya female hall of residence is said to have been broken through by some unknown students who pass through it to read under trees, rather than passing through the hostel gate.
The News Digest gathered that, this is the second time of the break through that the university management has been reconstructing and addressing the issue.
According to the UDUS Chief Security Officer, the university management will take necessary measures on this, and inflict a penalty on any student found being the victim of such an eyesore.
“ I want each and every student to be aware that this can attract rustication of students from two semesters. Students who always choose to follow the place should henceforth stop and follow the right passage,” he warned.
“ Students should heed to this warning because the university management will not forgive anyone who falls victim.”
