UDUS FEES to Organize Faculty Dean’s Cup

The Faculty of Education and Extension Services (FEES), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has invited all departments under the faculty to participate in the Inter-departmental football competition.

According to the circular released on 25 May, and signed by Mubarak Aliyu Kaffe, the Nigerian Universities Education Students Association’s president, the football league competition will be held in the next few weeks.

Part of the circular read: “The sport department of Faculty of Education and Extension Services, UDUS, wishes to inform all students of faculty of education and extension services, who are interested and professionals of football, that there is going to be an inter-department football competitions (FEES Dean’s cup) scheduled to hold in the few coming weeks,”

The circular also noted that students who are interested in the football league competition are to reach out to their departmental executives for more explanations.

“In respect to the above, all the interested students (players) are urged to reach out to the excos of their respective department for further explanations. And each player’s details are going to be captured by the Football Monitoring Committee (FIFA) to avoid hiring players from other faculties.

“The Faculty of Education football team is going to be screened out during the football tournament,” the circular added.
