BREAKING: SU CTC Chairman Resigns from Office

The letter

 

Muhammad Shamsudeen Umar, the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee (CTC) for Students’ Union, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has voluntarily resigned from the office.

This was contained in a letter titled ‘Voluntary Resignation’ and addressed to the office of the Vice Chancellor and the Dean Students Affairs on Friday, 26th May, 2023.

“With much respect and Honourable, I wish to notify you on the above subject,”the letter reads.

“Also, I want to thank the management for giving me the opportunity to serve in the Students’ Union. I believe that I have done my best in justifying the confidence reposed on me with regard to the students’ struggle.”

“Accordingly, I also like to seek forgiveness from the university community for any inconveniences I might have caused during the course of my service in the university from 2nd June, 2021 to 26th May, 2023.”

Meanwhile, as of the time of filling this report, the reason for his resignation is not made know to the public.
