Leicester City have been relegated from the English Premier League following a dreadful campaign that saw the Foxes finishing 18th on the 2022/2023 standings.
The mysterious movement of the team shocked the sporting world over the
mammoth eminence achieved by the club within a decade.
Becoming a League One winner, the club was promoted to the Premier league in 2013/2014 where they established their incessancy.
After its promotion, it only cost a dreaming Foxes two years to revolt the domination of big clubs, crowned Premier League champions in 2016/2017 season, thanks Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, Westley Nathan and Morgan who were at the forefront.
However, in order to balance up in the transfer market, the Foxes sold out some of the cornerstones in the club Riyad Mahrez, N’kolo Kante and Harry Maguire.
Leicester City made a huge profit from the sale of the transfer market.
Meanwhile, the innovation tended to be a disaster because the club witnessed a decline, battled in a relegation dismay in the following year of their title feat.
The arrival of the Northern Irish Brendan Rodger seems helpful, leading the Foxes to 9th place in his first season and consecutive 5th position in the subsequent years. The ex-Celtic boss proved himself, leading his side to claim their first ever FA Cup, becoming the 14th Premier League team to win all the major English local trophies in 2021.
However, the club suffered an hugeblow in a just concluded EPL season, where they experienced an awful campaign_lost 22 out of the 38 PL matches. Thus relegated under the services of three different coaches.
Leicester City has now become the second team to win the PL title and also be relegated after Man City recorded in 1936/37.
The pace at which Leicester City established their myth just within a decade attracted global attention. From winning Championship to Premiership, claiming FA Cup title back to relegation is what the world may renaissance forever.
