UDUS Centre for Peace Studies Set to Hold Public Lecture

The Centre for Peace Studies, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in collaboration with the Center for Democracy and Development has invited the general public to a public lecture.

According to the invitation flyer released from the office of the Vice Chancellor, the program is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 14th June, by 9:30 am at the University Auditorium, main campus.

Themed: “ Setting the Agenda for Peace Building and Sustainable Democracy in Nigeria”, would have Idayat Hassan, the Director of Centre for Democracy and Development(CDD), as the discussant of the day.

The chief host is Professor L.S Bilbis (UDUS Vice Chancellor, UDUS), the host is prof. MT Usman( director of centre for peace studies UDUS). The program will be chaired by General Martin Luther Agwai( Rtd.),the former chief of Army Staff ( COAS) Nigeria Army.

The presenters are: prof. Isaac Olawale Albert, university of Ibadan and Dr. Abubakar Saddique Mohammed, Centre for Democratic Development, Research and Training( CEDDERT) Zaria.
