Carryover is not the end of the road, but rather it is part of the academic experiences. Nevertheless, I had noticed that lots of students discouraged themselves in chasing their dream of making Papa proud with first class honor or any high grades when they had carryover in their courses.
Sometimes, they even declined to receive the lectures with their juniors because of shyness which may lead them to carry over the course again in accordance with the school rules and regulation which stipulated that students must have at least 75% percent attendance before passing any courses in the prestigious university.
However, Having carryover doesn’t mean you are retarded as there are a lot of certain reasons that may lead you to had it, so never be afraid to try again, and never be afraid of failure for every great success usually had some hidden painful stories of failure, thus, Don’t let the past tie you down, because the past is history not your destiny, so you will always be better tomorrow than the way you are now, if you strive hard for better.
I may agree that it is an achievement to complete your degree without carryover, but it is not a catastrophe to have carryover in your academic procedures. I have encountered many stories of students who were not in first class in their 100-level programmes, but they later graduated with first class honor degrees, and many students with first class in their 100 level, 200-level or 300 level academic sessions, who later end up graduating without first class honor.
Nonetheless, I will advise you to replace your doubt with affirmation, encourage yourself and banish negative thoughts that hold you back. Embrace the challenges and remember that greatness lies on the familiarity, so embrace your untapped potential, and you have to know that you are now in a perfect position to score *A* because you had attempted the course before, so you must have had more experience about the course likewise the lecturer than others, therefore put more effort and try to have full attendance without shyness, thus, it will endeavor you to understand and believe in yourself, then read as if you will never and pray as if you will never read, Insha Allah you will prosper in it.
More also, enfold failure as a stepping stone to success, view setbacks as opportunities for growth, learn from your mistakes and persevere, make sure you always surround yourself with positive support system by seeking out for the uplifting individuals who believe in you and your dreams and Trust yourself to let your belief propel you to extraordinary heights.
All in all, Ponder on this perspectives to give yourself peace of mind and remember the parlance that says “Success is not by grade, but by grace”
