The team representing the Faculty of Agriculture see off Team Faculty of Law after claiming a commanding 2-0 victory in the opening showdown of the 2023 Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto’s Inter-Faculty Football Competition on Saturday at the School Stadium.
The warriors of the war college scored in both halves of the game to seal the deserving 2-0 win after making sure that their opponents spent the rest of the game under the cosh.
Team Faculty of Law barely registered an on target throughout the game as they were fond of parking the bus each minute in the match.
The Saturday loss for the legal luminaries means that they have been eliminated from the tournament.
Team Agric have advanced to the next round of the tournament, waiting for their next opponent as the competition continues.
