NASVES-UDUS Set to Hold Orientation for Final Year Students

The National Association of Science and Vocational Education Students (NASVES), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has invited all final year students of the department to an orientation program on their projects.

According to a circular released and signed by the President of the association, Abdulsalam Aminu Liadi stated that the event will be held on Thursday, 22nd June at the ETF3 Lecture Hall by 12pm.

The programme, in collaboration with Adult and Primary Education Students’ Association (APESA), Education Foundation Students’ Association (EFSA), Association of Curriculum Studies Educational Technology Students, (ACSETS) is aimed at providing
guidelines for the final year students who are currently working on their project.

NASVES serves as the umbrella for six departments, which are: education Biology, education Chemistry, education Mathematics, education Physics, education computer science and education agriculture.

While speaking to The News Digest Press, the President of the association, Abdulsalam Aminu Liadi said that the essence of organizing the orientation is to help and guide the final year students of the department in carrying out their project in an effective way.

“This orientation is organized to help and guide project students in organizing and carrying out their project in an effective way and also boost student interest in higher order thinking and problem-solving skills.”

“At the end of the program we expect the students to obtain the ability to design their own project by themselves and also have full interest in it,” he said.
