The Freshwater Biological Association of Nigeria (FBAN) in the department of Biological Sciences of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has set to stage its 4th annual conference.
According to a circular released on Thursday, 6th July and signed by the Secretary Conference Organizing, Dr I.M. Magami, the conference will be held on Monday, 10th July at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Auditorium.
The conference, themed ‘Sustainable Development & Management of Freshwater Resources’, is aimed to foster collaboration, and explore innovative approaches to address the pressing issues related to freshwater ecosystems in Nigeria.
“The Conference will bring together leading experts, researchers, and professionals in the field of freshwater biology,” the circular reads in part.
“This year’s conference aims to foster collaboration, and explore innovative approaches to address the pressing issues related to freshwater ecosystems in Nigeria, with a Theme: Sustainable Development & Management of Freshwater Resources.
“We believe that your presence and contributions would greatly enhance the conference, we kindly request you to participate sir We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event. We sincerely appreciate your support for our endeavor to promote freshwater biology in Nigeria,” it added.
