Zamfara State Students Association (ZAMSSA) of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has set to organize an orientation ceremony for the newly admitted students of the 2022/2023 academic section.
The event, according to the flier released by the association, will hold on Sunday, 9th July 2023 at A10 hall, UDUS main campusby 10:00am.
The program is themed ‘ The Challenges Facing Zamfara and the Expectations of Zamfara People in the Upcoming Administration.’
In an interview with the President of the association, Ahmad Muhammad, a 400-level student of Pure Chemistry said the event is aimed at awakening the association in performing its responsibilities and also to enlighten the new students.
“The purpose of the program was to revive the association to its well functioning. The event also will serve as an eye-opener for the students on how to achieve academic excellence.”
“The lecture will be delivered by academic fathers and lecturers such as Dr YY Isura from the department of Accounting and Dr. A.U Ruwan Doruwa from Faculty of Law.”
