Inside UDUS: CED Begins Baking of Bread

The Center for Entrepreneurship Development(CED), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has started baking bread for sale in the university main campus.

According to a statement posted by the club on its Facebook handle on Thursday, 13th July, the breads are of a variety of sizes ensuring that they fit the needs and budget of the students on campus.

“Breaking bread barriers! CEDUDUS (Center for Entrepreneurship Development, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto) revolutionizes the baking scene with a variety of sizes, ensuring bread that fits your needs and budget,” the club said.

“Enjoy safe and scrumptious goodness, now available in all the right sizes!”

Speaking with the News Digest Press, the president of the club, Abdullahi Umar Faruk said the bread are of different sizes with different prices.

“There are special breads with a price tag of N900. We also have those whose prices are N800, N400, and N300.”

“Sales have started at most school minimarts and it’s opened to all dealers that would be interested in distribution at a discounted price.

The president also said that the center will be organizing a promo sale soon.

Mr. Abdullahi also told the News Digest Press that the innovation is pursuant to the approval of the school management and the center
will be open from Monday to Saturday at 8:00am to 6:00pm.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development contains different sessions: baking, shoe making , catering, tailoring, make up among others.
