Things begin falling apart! societal guidelines are no longer guiding. The vice is now the dice rolling on the table of morality. The Elderly’s lives are in jeopardy of what tomorrow will birth. Immoral act has turned out to be a moral and acceptable act in the world. Dressing to expose a body has become an emblem of civilization.
Our societies are in crises. Today, indecent dressing has become the best outfit among our people— male, female, young, and aged ones. This immoral dressing has evidenced that both the muslims and the christians can’t uphold sound morality in their society anymore.
Now in the era where nefarious acts have surmounted virtue. It’s rare to see someone, particularly ladies, wearing a cloth that will not uncloak them and even put on duds in order to chill with big boys. Thus, some dress to show the shape of their body—intending to seduce while some dress in order to have people’s eyes.
It would be better if they will be married to those who completely adored the way they reflect their body, but they will not, rather neglecting them after using them. It’s quite unfortunate that some will later become victim of rape, money ritual and the likes. Decent men weren’t fond of eating uncovered food for it has been besmirched and contaminated.
The way we dress shows the way we will be addressed. It’s so unfortunate that there is no parental supervision anymore. Everyone is at liberty, as they like, some parents even instigate their children. The dressing of someone who arose from a noble home is not quite different from the commercial worker’s dress (prostitutes).
It has become a known fact that many ladies are wearing indecent dresses all in the name of modernisation. Parents have failed woefully in training their children and showing them what is morally accepted in the society. Their mode of upbringing of children has enhanced indecent dressing among Nigerian youths, which tends to put one in danger (especially the female gender) because showing sensitive parts of the body might expose them to harm.
