LAWSAN-UDUS Organizes 2-Day Symposium For Law Students

The office of the Attorney General under the Law Students Association of Nigeria, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto is set to hold a two-day groundbreaking symposium on litigation for all law students.

The training, themed: A Thought-provoking Disclosure On Navigating The Waters Of Litigation Criminal and Civil” will be held on Saturday, 4th November, and Sunday, 5th November, by 8 pm precisely at Google Meet.

Speaking with The News Digest press, Zakaria Khalid, Attorney General of LAWSAN and a 400L law student expressed the reason for presenting this training.

“It’s because many of my colleagues, particularly the Junior Colleagues in UG I & 2 have been complaining that they are not being carried along in the procedural aspects of Law, that is why I deem it fit to invite experienced Lawyers to guide us step by step in both areas of Criminal and Civil litigation.”

“After all, they say the beauty of Law is in Practice. And trying to impact my dear Colleagues with the basic knowledge of Court Processes and Proceedings to the best of my ability,” he added.
