The News Digest Press has again proven its dominance over any other press outfit on Danfodiyo varsity after winning the press outfit of the year award for fourth time in five academic sessions.
In a resounding celebration of journalistic excellence, the News Digest press at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has been officially crowned as the premier press of the academic year 2022/2023 by The National Association of Campus Journalism (NACJ), UDUS.
Recall that NACJ had bestowed the coveted title of “Best Press of the Year” upon the Digest, affirming its unwavering commitment to journalistic prowess three times before the recent crown which makes it four.
This is to say this awards shows the fourth time in five academic sessions that the News Digest Press is winning the press outfit of the year award—2018, 2019, 2020 and now 2023. 2021 academic session was subsumed in 2022.
