The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has on Monday, March 11, adjusted its working hours in observance of the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.
According to the circular released, the revised schedule will go into effect today, March 11th, which is the first day of Ramadan, and remain in place until after the holy month.
Under the new schedule, staff and faculty will work from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays till Thursday. Friday’s working hours will run from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Regular working hours will resume immediately after the Ramadan fast concludes.
The statement reads: “This is to inform all members of the university community that with effect from Monday, 11th March 2024 the first day of Ramadan, the following official working hours will be observed till the end of the Ramadan fasting period. Mondays to Thursdays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.”
