The Greenline Nurture Initiative (GNI), Sokoto under the founding realm of Professor Jimoh Oaiya Amzat and Dr. Kazeem Aremu has on the 18th of March 2024 released its application procedures for the 2024 cohort 3 academic mentorship program for final year students in a degree awarding institutions or recent graduates in Sokoto State.
As contained in the flier, the mentorship which started in 2021 offers a 6-month academic mentorship Cohort specifically for final-year students. The initiative is borne out of the need to make young people realize and maximize their potential in making a bright future for themselves.
According to the flier, the application spans from Monday, March 18 to Monday, April 8, 2024, and interested applicants are highly encouraged to apply, adding that the program offers the necessary skills and equipment needed for easy networking and scholarship opportunities.

The statement reads: “Applicants must be final-year undergraduate students in degree-awarding institutions in Sokoto State or recent graduates
“Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 or its equivalent in the last academic session.
“Applicants must write an essay of not more than 250 words stating their passion for academic excellence, zea for postgraduate studies, and why the GNI board should select them as part of the cohort.
“Applicants must be following GNI on all social media platforms.”
