Applicants Who are Yet to Receive Message Should not Panic— Says AAF Scholarship Representative

Habibu Temako reports

The students’ representative for Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation(AAF) scholarship, Olayiwola Ridwan Adentuji, has said that students who are yet to receive an invitation for the computer-based test of the scholarship should not worry.

According to a statement released by the students’ representative and obtained by the News Digest Press on Friday, 29th March 2024, the reason was as a result of limitation attached to sending emails per day.

Recall that the foundation has started sending invitation emails to successful applicants for the CBT.

The statement reads in part: ” The reason for the partial circulation of the invite was due to the fact that the sender reached the daily limit for sending mail to applicants. While over 1,000 applicants have been messaged, above 1,000 applicants have yet to receive the email,” the statement reads in part.

“In this regard, applicants who are yet to receive the invite should not panic, as all applicants will receive it through their respective Gmail.”

The statement further added that if an applicant does not receive a message, they are advised to go directly to the test venue.

“ In the event that an applicant is not messaged, such an application is encouraged to proceed to the venue for the test as the names of all applicants will be confirmed at the venue. So the situation doesn’t call for any anxiety.”
