Professor Lawal Bilbiss, the Vice Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, has delivered a heartfelt message to both graduands and undergraduate students.
This message was passed during the ongoing UDUS 2024 Combined Convocation, held at the convocation theater on April 19th, 2024.
In his fatherly counsel, Professor Bilbiss emphasized the importance of embracing lifelong learning, resilience in adversity, diversity and inclusion, and making a positive impact.
He explained the inevitability of facing challenges in life and urged the audience to view adversity not as a weakness but as an opportunity for personal growth.
“Life is full of ups and downs, and you will inevitably encounter obstacles along the way,” he said.
“Remember that adversity is not a sign of weakness but an opportunity for growth. Stay resilient, persevere in the face of challenges, and maintain a positive outlook even in the darkest of times.”
