Al Adabiyyah Alumni Association, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter, has scheduled Sunday, 29th April for the orientation program of the newly admitted member.
According to the flier, the program will take place by 10:00 am at the Al-Adabiyyah shop in the school hostel mini-mart.
While speaking with The News Digest Press, Abdullah Mustapha Kamaldeen, the Ameer of the association, explained that this program aims at acquainting the newly admitted members about the affairs of the association and enlightening them on how to succeed in their academics.
“The main purpose of organizing the orientation program is to apprise the new student on the rules and regulations of the university, enlighten them on how the CGPA is calculated and how to be successful in academic activities.
“I would like to emphasize that the weekly program can’t affect the academic activities, because the program usually commences at 8:00 am to 10:00 am”
He further urged both new and returning students to be good ambassadors of sheikh tajul adabiy.
