NULASS-UDUS Sets to Organize Orientation for Newly Admitted Students

The National Union of Lagos State Students (NULASS) , Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto chapter, is set to hold an orientation program for the newly admitted students.

The program, according to the flier, will be held on 28th April, by 10:00 am at the convocation theatre.

As contained, the event will feature Talks and discussion, Fun facts, Networking, Trivia’s, welcome packages, goodies and more.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. T.O. Obalola from the faculty of Agricultural Economy, who will unveil the secrets to academic excellence.

In an interview with The News Digest press, Wahab Nurudeen Afolabi, a 400L computer science student and president of NULASS emphasized that the purpose of the orientation is to enlighten both fresher and returning students on how to achieve their academic excellence.

“The purpose of our orientation is not only to guide the fresher but also the returning students on how to achieve a successful academic performance,” he said.

“The orientation will be a program that will encourage students to pursue an outstanding academic record, eyes open to different career opportunities, and many more.”

Speaking further, he noted that there will be an interactive discussion, working sessions, and a fun academic challenge to engage and inspire the attendees.
