The National Association of Islamic Studies Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is set to organize an orientation and prize giving ceremony.
The event, according to a flier released by the association, will hold on Tuesday, 13th June at the University Auditorium, UDUS Main Campus by 10:00am.
The prize giving section of the event is a writing contest in honour of Professor A.A Gwandu and Professor Y.Y Ibrahim for the 2022/2023 session.
According to the flier, the chairman of the occasion is Professor Ahmad Moyi Gada, while the chief host is of Professor Isah Muhammed Maishanu, the Dean of Faculty of Arabic and Islamic studies.
The Coordinator of the National association of Islamic Studies Sudents, Doctor Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Jos, and Professor Shehu Abdurrahman Aboki, Head of Department of Islamic Studies are co-hosts of the program.
