The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, under the leadership of Mustaqeem bin Malik has invited the general public to Faruk Naik lecture.
According to the flier, the program is scheduled to come up on Nov 1, at convocation theatre, main campus, starting precisely at 4:00 pm.
Themed: “ Islamic and Christianity, A Comparative Study” would have Farik Naik, a distinguished scholar and a direct descendant of the renowned Indian-born Islamic scholar Zakir Naik, as the keynote speaker of the day.
Faruk Naik is a widely recognized person for his compelling talks on Islam and has been invited to address audiences in various countries, including Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Qatar, UAE, and Indonesia, among others.
Speaking with The News Digest Press, the Ameer of the MSSN, Mustaqeem bin Malik, clearly stated the motive behind organizing the program—noting that the room will be opened for individuals of either faith-based and everybody’s questions will be attended to.
“The essence of organizing this programme is to further create awareness of our dear religion and enhance the Da’wah.
“Our expectation is for students to come out en masse and witness the great international scholars speak on matters of comparative study; that’s why all faiths are welcomed. No matter which faith or creed one belongs to, this public lecture is for them. We just wish they would all abide by a very good sense of humor and an awesome modest way of dressing”.
