Alejandro Garnacho Spectacular Goal Follow Legendary Hallmark

Manchester United and Argentina forward Alejandro Garnacho Ferreyra enjoyed a laudable moment of his career so far, displaying a masterclass performance, when he delivered a spectacular goal that handed his side a 3-0 victory against Everton at Goodison Park, on Sunday.

While sparking positive remarks and eulogy among the football enthusiasts, the stunning has earned the young star a recognition to feature among the few skilful and exceptional footballers that entertain the football world with such celebrated goals.

With dedication, resilience and commitment, the United winger is driving his football career to a millennium destination, as the overhead kick proliferated the 19-years-old to a worldwide spotlight.

How Garnacho Starts his Football Journey

Garnacho was born on 1 July 2004 in Madrid to a Spanish-born father Alex Garnacho, and an Argentine mother Patricia Ferreyra Fernández. Garnacho’s father is closely associated with the management firm, Leader Sports Management, representing the young star in his football career.

The 2004-born joined Manchester United’s youth system from Atlético Madrid in October 2020, with a £420,000 fee, while signing his first professional contract with the club in July 2021. He firstly played youth international football for Spain, the country of his birth. However, he made his debut for Argentina under-20 in 2022. He also registered his debut appearance for the Argentina senior team against Australia in June 2023.

Furthermore, He came to the spotlight for his solo goal during a 4-1 victory over Everton in the FA Youth Cup, where he was nominated for United’s Goal of the Month award for February 2022. Garnacho also won the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in May 2022. In October, he scored a late winner for United’s U21 against Barrow in the 2022 EFL Trophy, he made his first senior start for United on 27 October 2022, in a 3–0 win over Moldovan team Sheriff Tiraspol in the UEFA Europa League, and he was praised by manager Erik ten Hag for his improvement over the past few weeks. Ten Hag was delighted with Garnacho’s improved attitude and resilience. On 3 November 2022, he scored his first senior goal in a Europa League match against Real Sociedad with an assist from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Garnacho’s Effort was Commendable – Specialists

Garnacho Acrobatic goal put his side on a driver’s bus, securing a 3-0 victory over Sean Dyche’s men at Goodison Park. Thus, the overhead kick has generated commendable remarks from various personalities.

Speaking after the match, both Garnacho and his manager Erik Ten Hag agreed that the bicycle kick could probably be the goal of the season as far as the ongoing campaign is concerned.

His words: “I can’t believe it! I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the sound and thought ‘Oh my God’, It is the best goal I have scored, of course”, said Garnacho.

Also, the manager, Erik ten Hag said: “The season is still long but it’s probably the goal of the season. But the build-up was very good, it’s about switching and dynamics. But the finish is fantastic.”

More so, Manchester United’s legend Gary Nevile immediately after the game compared the goal with Wayne Rooney’s winner for the Red Devil during a 2-1 victory against rival Manchester City in 2011. However, he concluded that Garnacho’s effort superseded that of Rooney because it is not only a football but also gymnastics display. He said on Gary Nevile Podcast: “I’ve not seen as good a goal as that from a stunning overhead kick. That was the most beautiful overhead kick”

Another specialist, Sky Sports pro Roy Keane said: “Absolutely amazing, we had a great view of it, It gets better every time you see it. Very few players in the world can do that. It’s nice to see some young players doing well at Man Utd.”
