NAPSS-UDUS Holds First Ramadan Iftar, Fosters Unity among Members

The National Association of Political Science Students(NAPSS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has held its Ramadan iftar celebration on Thursday, 4th April, in respect of the holy month of Ramadan.

The iftar, held at Fatima Balarabe Ibrahim (FBI) Volleyball Court, was chaired by Comrd Moses Zamani Kambai, setting a lead for togetherness and unity among the Christians and Muslim members of the association.

Speaking with The News Digest Press, Moses Zamani Kambai, the President of the Association, expressed how joyful and satisfactory he felt following the massive turn out of the members.

“Sincerely I feel joyful and happy as well, because the major significance of this event is to preach unity and love among diverse religions and ethnicities,” He said.

He further hopes to make the legacy a continuous assessment as academic session sails through,

“Sincerely I was astonished with the turnout, it was massive and encouraging, it shows that We are together united in taking the department of Political Science to greater heights.”
