“I cannot wake up to cook for my husband,” Echoed the voice of a GenZ feminist. “I can’t even wake up to cook for my own father, because I didn’t come to life to cook for men,” these are the phrases of feminists on Twitter. Personally, I feel like it’s only a human being that share the same appearance with a bungalow that will think like this.—Nothing, they say, is always upstairs. This is my opinion and might not really matter.

I think it’s high time we lecture ourselves on what true feminism is and what is not. Today’s feminists are more of a proud and arrogant work of art than advancing the course of their fellow women.

This is not the feminism Gloria Steinem, Christine de pian, preached or prophesized. Their feminism revolves around the range of socio- political movements and ideologies that aims at defining and establishing the political, social, economic, personal and social equality of the sexes. They envisioned a society where women take up their own responsibility and not shield it.

They didn’t promote or preach or support being rude and how to lack morals and common sense. Sadly, in the world we found ourselves people now behave out of their thinking box to think that the only way you want to express your feminist power is not respecting the male gender. True feminism preaches kindness and responsibilities. Ability to respect everyone regardless of who they are. It empowers women to voice out where their right is about to be trampled on. It however, doesn’t preach for irresponsibility, ability to exude basic morals, all under the guise of feminism.

Sadly, a lot of the female gender call themselves feminists without knowing what it truly means. Feminism today is more of a negative weapon than a defense. It is doing more harm than it is meant to impact positively.

Last year, a twitter influencer tweeted about her waking her husband around 5 am to cook for him, she was criticized that she is a slave, why will she do that? Did she come to earth to suffer for man? “I am a feminist and I can’t cook for any man.” In my head I do call them twitter feminists, because they don’t understand the true concept of the feminism they attribute to themselves.

Feminism should be more of a platform to do what you want to do as human regardless of the fact that you bleed monthly or that you urinate from your behind. Feminism is meant to give the female gender a voice, rather than start a challenge that you might have lost

Women that excel in the men’s world are not those that rant on social media, feminism did not revolve around being slaves to the men. It revolves around showing your potential without being judged.

Feminists of these days are not feminists per se. They are merely hiding under the garb of the concept in order to hide their akebaje trait. Ill manner.
