Every Arsenal player is unplayable in the ongoing English Premier League campaign. Without doubt, 30-year-old Swiss international, Granit Xhaka is one of the frontiers holding Arteta’s men to maintain their position at top with eight points ahead of their this season’s bitterest rivals, Manchester City who have a game at hand.
While Xhaka preserves his position of captain in his national team, he also manages to be the second captain for the Gunners. Frankly, from his stats_ both in national level and club side_ it shows that the player is having a wonderful performance this season.
Recently, he was involved in two goal-contributions, provided an assist and also scored in the match that saw Switzerland hammer Belarus 5-0 in the UEFA Nations League Cup.
Xhaka has recorded three consecutive goals in his last three matches. He scored the only goal for the Gunners against Sporting Lisbon in Europa League, even though Arsenal crashed out of the competition on penalty shootout.
After the performance, the 30-year-old midfielder faced Crystal Palace where he managed to secure a goal in Arsenal’s 4-1 win to tighten up their top spot on the Premier league table. Xhaka has recorded four goals with five goal assists with just four yellow cards without a red card in 28 Premier League games this season.
